Design and Coordination for the European Open Heritage Day: an intermunicipal heritage project

With the cities of:
        Kortrijk 
        Menen 
        Zwevegem 
        Waregem 
        Harelbeke 
Coordination of 5 municipalities for an event with the theme of the Eilands of Southwest Flanders. The event included  7 bike routes, 11 locations open to the public, and more than 500 to bike through! On the day, more than 1000 people visited the landmarks and learned their history.

A map was designed as a base for the event, and following tourism activities.

The Territorial Lab is a month-long experiment in a vacant space in the city centre of Kortrijk.

Through collaborations with local stakeholders and citizens, it explores different practices that reflect complex and multilayered visions on the region.

Research and development of various projects for a ‘’UNESCO Cultural Landscapes‘’ application for the moated homesteads (or Eilands) through community engagement. 

The moated homesteads of Southwest Flanders are vernacular settlements that are surrounded by water, hidden within the urban sprawl of the city. 

‘‘Camille Duraffourd and the establishment of the cadastre in the Levant during the French mandate(1920-1946) ‘’
2018-2019
In 1920, a 25-year-old French army engineer officer, Camille Duraffourd, was sent to Syria to carry out the task of creating a new cadastre for the countries under the French mandate in the Levant, Lebanon and Syria.
